Tiny Dancers Program
Tiny Stars

Ages 18 months to 3 years. This 30 minute parent & child class is designed for those children who would like a creative introduction to music and movement with their parent in class with them. This class will involve creative movement, songs and a use of props to create an exciting class setting. An amazing first dancing experience!



Stars Ballet/Tap

Ages 4-5. Dancers will come into this 30 minute class all by themselves for an energetic class that focuses on balance, rhythm and creative movement. This program is designed to introduce a young child to dance basics of Ballet and Tap and begin to develop a love of dance and an appreciation for music.



Stars Jazz/Acro

Ages 4-5. Dancers will come into this 30 minute class all by themselves. Classes will develop the beginning skills needed for acrobatics as well as work on introducing young children to jazz dance. Basic turns, walks, and jumps are some of the steps that will be introduced to students. Age appropriate music and movements will provide a fun and safe space for children to be introduced to the genres of Jazz and Acro dance.



Stars Bop

Ages 4-5. This 30 min class is designed to introduce a young child to dance basics and begin to develop a love of dance and appreciation for music. Hip Hop is a fun, high energy dance that has its roots in jazz, funk and urban street dancing. Age appropriate music and movements will provide a fun and safe space for children to be introduced to the genre of Hip Hop dance.

Recreational Program 

Our recreational programs are designed for dancers ages 6 to 18 and any skill level. These fun and exciting classes provide constant positive re-enforcement to build confidence and dance skills. All our friendly teachers bring a lighthearted approach of teaching while implementing the importance of learning the proper technique in ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, acro, contemporary and musical theater. These classes will build a performance throughout the year and perform this at our end of year recital.

  • Ballet Classes

    Ballet 1 -  Ages 6-8. Ballet is a classical dance style recognized for its beauty and grace as well as providing the foundation for all dance styles.  In these 45 minute ballet classes we focus on placement, alignment, flexibility and musicality through a blend of traditional ballet techniques and contemporary movement. Basic ballet concepts, vocabulary and skills are introduced through standard combinations at the barre and in the classroom center. Each level is designed to be taken for 2 years in a row. As dancers advance through the levels, exercises will increase in length and difficulty.


    Ballet 2 -  Ages 9-12. Ballet is a classical dance style recognized for its beauty and grace as well as providing the foundation for all dance styles.  In these 30 minute ballet classes we focus on placement, alignment, flexibility and musicality through a blend of traditional ballet techniques and contemporary movement. Basic ballet concepts, vocabulary and skills are introduced through standard combinations at the barre and in the classroom center. Each level is designed to be taken for 2 years in a row. As dancers advance through the levels, exercises will increase in length and difficulty.

    Pointe Rec - By invitation only.  All pointe classes are designed for dancers with previous ballet training. Dancers will utilize previously learned ballet technique while working on pointe technique to progress their skill level. Each class includes barre exercises, center floor work and across the floor combinations. These exercises focus on strengthening the feet and ankles. Classes can be taken on flat or in pointe shoes at the instructors discretion. Dancers must be invited to this class, you can ask to have your dancer evaluated.


    Ballet 3 - Ages 13+. Ballet is a classical dance style recognized for its beauty and grace as well as providing the foundation for all dance styles. In these 45 minute ballet classes we focus on placement, alignment, flexibility and musicality through a blend of traditional ballet techniques and contemporary movement. Fundamental ballet concepts, vocabulary and skills are introduced through standard combinations at the barre and in the classroom center. Each ballet level is designed to be taken for 2 years in a row. As dancers advance through the levels, exercises will increase in length and difficulty.

  • Jazz Classes

    Jazz 1 - Ages 6-8. This 30 minute high energy class encourages rhythm, coordination, flexibility and strength. Jazz is a fundamental dance form that utilizes a variety of steps, leaps and turns put together in stylized combinations. This class includes classroom center work, flexibility and skill building while increasing the dancers technical skills to fun and up beat music.  Age appropriate music and movements will provide a fun and safe space for children to be introduced to jazz dance style.


    Jazz 2 & 3 - Ages 9+. This 45 minute high energy class  encourages rhythm, coordination, flexibility and strength. Jazz is a fundamental dance form that utilizes a variety of steps, leaps and turns put together in stylized combinations. This class includes classroom center work, flexibility and skill building while increasing the dancers technical skills to fun and up beat music.  Age appropriate music and movements will provide a fun and safe space for children to be introduced to jazz dance style.

  • Tap Classes

    Tap 1 - Ages 6-8. This 30 minute long fun, high energy class focuses on Tap technique, developing musicality, rhythm and precision. This style of dance differs from others in that dancers must be aware of the sight and sound of their movements as well as how it integrates with other dancers in the group. As a classic style of dance, Tap is vital in the development of dexterity, rhythm and timing. Classes will provide techniques, combinations and begin to build an extensive Tap vocabulary.

This style of dance differs from others in that dancers must be aware of the sight and sound of their movements as well as how it integrates with other dancers in the group.     Acro 1 -  Ages 6-8. This 30 minute class uses strength and flexibility to perform gymnastic-based tricks. In this class, dancers perform conditioning exercises to prepare them for increased difficulty.  Dancers will be taught and trained in skills such as flexibility, strength, and control to perform tricks, balances, and tumbling. Stretches and fluid movements may be used to help students gain a sense of their capabilities, and through each class they will learn to push their limits to develop into more advanced dancers.


    Acro 2 -  Ages 9-12. This 45 minute class uses strength and flexibility to perform gymnastic-based tricks. In this class, dancers perform conditioning exercises to prepare them for increased difficulty.  Dancers will be taught and trained in skills such as flexibility, strength, and control to perform tricks, balances, and tumbling.   • Musical Theater Classes

    Musical Theater - All Ages. Musical theater is a fun, creative and VERY expressive 45 minute class. Combining elements of simple dance steps, lip syncing and drama, musical theater helps students develop their performance skills. The focus of this class is on teaching students how to use their movements and facial expression to create a more diverse and engaging performance. No prior experience is required.

Competitive Program 

Our competitive program requires a commitment to dance from both dancers and their parents, as the dancers train more extensively throughout the week, and compete in 2 Ontario based competitions throughout the year. Competitive dance develops coordination, rhythm, strength, posture, flexibility, commitment, discipline and teamwork. Registering for the competitive program is done by invitation only and is based on performance in an audition workshop. Dance instructors will select students who demonstrate the work ethic and skill required for each level.

The dancer will build skills that assist with the development of creative and expressive movement. It also improves spatial and body awareness as dancers gain fluidity, grace and control. It embraces a variety of dance styles such as modern, jazz, lyrical, and ballet. It incorporates both the strength and control of ballet as well as a unique focus on contact-release, floor work, fall and recovery. 


    Competitive Contemporary/Lyrical 3 – This 60 minute class focuses on the skills of contemporary and lyrical dance.
