6-week yoga training series specifically designed for our dancers. The class would blend power yoga, hatha yoga, and yin yoga to help dancers develop strength, mobility, recovery tools, and body and breath awareness that directly support their dance training.

While dance classes build technique and choreography, yoga can provide the cross-training component that strengthens the smaller stabilizing muscles, improves joint integrity, and teaches dancers how to safely lengthen and release tight areas from repetitive movement. This can help reduce injuries, improve flexibility, build endurance, and support better alignment in turns, jumps, and extensions.

Private Lessons

Ms. Dani

I'm so excited to continue supporting dancers throughout the summer for those wanting to stay strong, build confidence, and get ahead for next season. I will be offering limited 1:1 training sessions focused on the individual needs of each dancer in a supportive and encouraging environment.

These sessions can include:

• strength and conditioning for dancers

• flexibility and mobility training

• jazz technique and performance quality

• turns, jumps, control, and musicality

• mind-body connection and confidence building

• injury recovery support and body awareness

• nutrition and healthy habits for growing athletes

• mental health support, mindset, and managing performance stress

As both a dance educator and someone deeply passionate about holistic wellness, I believe strong dancers are built not only through technique, but through confidence, resilience, body awareness, and feeling supported as a whole person.

These sessions are ideal for dancers who want extra guidance, individualized attention, or additional training outside of regular classes to help them grow and feel more prepared heading into the next season.

I can't wait to continue helping these dancers thrive, feel empowered, and deepen their love for dance.

Ms Julie

Julie's private offerings and recommended fees:

1)  Ballet - focus can be discussed as per dancers needs (recommended 45-60 minutes):

  • ballet basics

  • working through feet and properly using turnout

  • arms (ports de bras)

2)  PBT (Progressing Ballet Technique) (recommended 30-45 minutes):

  • Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT) is a specialized conditioning program that uses exercise balls, resistance bands, and targeted exercises to train muscle memory, core stability, and body alignment. It helps dancers master complex movements, and can dramatically reduce the risk of injuries.

3)  Pilates (recommended 30-45 minutes):

  • Pilates is widely considered the ultimate cross-training method for dancers because it builds deep core stability, improves active flexibility, and corrects muscle imbalances. By focusing on proper joint alignment and whole-body control, it helps dancers execute fluid movements while heavily reducing the risk of common injuries.  Bands, balls, rings and Bosu Ball will be used.

4)  Focused Strength Training (recommended 30-45 minutes):

  • This will be specific to two targeted areas, feet and turnout.

  • use of bands, barre, Bosu Ball and wobble board.

Ms Lexi

Ms. Lexy is available this summer for private sessions to focus on acro based skills, progressions and techniques in preparation for the start of a new year ahead. Private sessions allow for individualized focus when it comes to full body strength, flexibility, conditioning as well as the ability to target specific goals and/or challenges a dancer(s) might be experiencing, surrounding specifically acro skills or dance in general. To discuss more about what private, individualized sessions might look like, please connect with her at lexy.feinstein@skylinedancestudio.ca

Mr Wilson

Summer is a great time to work on the things we don't always have enough time to focus on during the regular dance season.

I will be offering a limited number of private lessons throughout June and July, with availability ending at the end of July. These sessions aren't about learning more choreography—they're about developing the skills that make dancers stronger, more confident, and more versatile in every class and routine they take on.

Areas of focus can include overall strength and conditioning, musicality, dance memory, performance quality, and learning how to pick up and retain choreography more effectively. If you've ever heard me say, "It's not just about remembering the steps," you'll know these sessions are designed to help dancers understand the why behind their movement and perform with greater intention, energy, and confidence.

Whether you're preparing for next season, hoping to become a stronger teammate, or simply looking to challenge yourself and continue growing as a dancer, these sessions will be tailored to your individual goals.

Availability is extremely limited and will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
