Upcoming 2026-2027 Pre Competitive Team Auditions

Registration for the 2026–2027 Pre-Competitive Team Auditions is now open.

Auditions will take place on Sunday, May 31, 2026. Please note that auditions were originally scheduled for May 30; however, due to the school Track and Field Day being moved to that date, auditions have been rescheduled.

If your dancer would like to audition for next year's team, please register through Studio Pro (our registration software). The deadline to register is Saturday, May 30 at 12:00 p.m.

We have made two important changes to this year's audition process:

1. In addition to registering through Studio Pro, families must also complete a Google Form. This form will collect additional information, including:

   • Disciplines your dancer is interested in participating in

   • Expressions of interest for solos, duets, and small groups

   • Please note that dancers will only be considered for group classes in the disciplines selected on this form. We will no longer be asking dancers during auditions which disciplines they are interested in, as we have in previous years.

   • We hope this change encourages dancers and parents to have open conversations about goals and interests for next season, while also giving parents greater input in what is communicated to the studio.

2. This year, we will be evaluating dancers in the mandatory CORE disciplines of Ballet and Jazz, along with Acro and Hip Hop for dancers interested in those areas. Tap evaluations will be completed separately through individual assessments. We have made this change to ensure proper placement in these disciplines. 

As Ballet and Jazz are foundational disciplines for many genres, there will not be additional auditions required for other styles.

Once logged into Studio Pro, click "Register" and select "2026–2027 Auditions." You will find four audition groups based on age:

• Ages 6–9

• Ages 10–11

• Ages 12–13

• Ages 14 & Over

To be considered for the Pre-Competitive Team, dancers must participate in the CORE Ballet and Jazz auditions. Acro and Hip Hop auditions are optional add-ons for dancers planning to participate in those disciplines.
